Glacial Acetic Acid is a highly pure form of acetic acid (with the chemical formula CH₃COOH) with a concentration of ≥ 99.8%. It is a colorless and transparent liquid with a pungent sour smell. It is widely used in the food industry (as an acidity regulator E260), pharmaceutical synthesis (as a raw material for aspirin), textile printing and dyeing, and chemical production (such as PTA, vinyl acetate, etc.).

In the food industry, acetic acid is used as a flavoring agent, preservative, etc. In the pharmaceutical industry, acetic acid is used as a raw material for drugs, disinfectant, etc. In the dye and plastic industries, acetic acid is used as a solvent and raw material.

Acetic acid is packaged in 25kg or 250kg HDPE plastic drums or IBC tote. For food-grade products, a protective coating inner liner is required. Store in a cool and ventilated place (<30℃), away from oxidants/metal, and avoid direct sunlight. Highly corrosive. Protective equipment must be worn during handling. Shelf life: 24 months.
