Food-grade propylene glycol is a colorless, transparent, and non-precipitating viscous liquid. It is widely used in the food industry. According to national standards, it is approved as a food additive and is mainly used as a stabilizer, emulsifier, and solvent. It is commonly found in products such as bread and cream. Propylene glycol has good hygroscopicity and antifreeze properties, which can maintain the moisture and freshness of food. In addition, it can also be used in beer processing and the extraction of aroma substances.
4ـ الحزمة والتخزين
The product is packaged in plastic drums, with a specification of 215kg per drum, or in accordance with the packaging specifications requested by the customer.
It is extremely stable at room temperature, but oxidized when exposed to high temperatures (above 280℃); when mixed with 95% ethanol or water, it has chemical stability; it can be sterilized by heat pressing or filtration sterilization. Propylene glycol is hygroscopic and should be stored in a cool, dry place, in a light-proof and sealed container.
