Butyl acetate is a type of carboxylic acid ester synthetic fragrance. It is a colorless, transparent liquid with a strong fruity aroma. It can be mixed and dissolved with ethanol and ether freely, and can be dissolved in most organic solvents. It is slightly soluble in water, with a solubility of 0.05g in water. Its vapor has a weak anesthetic effect, and the allowable concentration in the air is 0.2g/l.

3.Ámbito de aplicación y uso
Butyl acetate is a kind of flavoring raw material. It is used to prepare fruit-flavored essences such as banana, pineapple, apricot, peach and strawberry, and is applied in food, natural rubber, synthetic resins, nitrocellulose, artificial leather, photographic film base, plastics, flavoring agents and medicine as solvents.
4.Embalaje y almacenamiento
Butyl acetate is packaged in 25kg galvanized iron drums or HDPE plastic drums. For food-grade products, a PE film liner is required inside. It should be stored in a cool and ventilated place (< 25℃), away from fire sources and oxidants. It must be tightly sealed to prevent evaporation. The shelf life is 24 months.
