Ethyl Caprate is a colorless transparent oily liquid. It does not dissolve in water, glycerol or propylene glycol at room temperature, but it is soluble in ethanol, ether and chloroform.

3.Ámbito de aplicación y uso
Ethyl caproate is mainly used in the field of food flavorings. It can simulate the fragrances of fruits such as coconut, pear, and brandy. When used as an aroma component in liquor, it can enhance the fullness of the liquor and give a similar brandy-like aroma. In addition, its ester structure is often used in the formulation of perfumes, soap-based flavorings, and other daily chemical products.
4.Embalaje y almacenamiento
Ethyl caproate is packaged in 25kg aluminum drums or galvanized iron drums. For food-grade products, it should be lined with PE film. Store in a cool, dark place (< 25℃), away from fire sources and oxidants. Sealed tightly to prevent evaporation. The shelf life is 24 months.
