Phenyl alcohol (food grade) is a colorless transparent liquid with a faint aromatic odor and is flammable. It is slightly soluble in water (about 1 gram of phenyl alcohol can be dissolved in 25 milliliters of water) and can be miscible with organic solvents such as ethanol, ether, benzene, and chloroform.

3.Ámbito de aplicación y uso
Benzyl Alcohol (food-grade) is used as a flavoring agent, solvent, and preservative in food products. It is approved for use in beverages, baked goods, candies, chewing gum, and ice cream.
4.Embalaje y almacenamiento
Phenyl alcohol should be sealed and packaged in stainless steel or glass containers. It should be stored in a cool (< 25℃), dry and dark place, away from oxidants and heat sources. It is recommended to be protected by nitrogen filling to extend the shelf life (18 months).
