3.Ámbito de aplicación y uso
Citral (food-grade) is widely used as a flavoring agent in beverages (soft drinks, teas), confectionery, dairy products, and baked goods for its strong lemon aroma. It also serves as a key intermediate for synthesizing other flavors (e.g., ionones, vitamin A).
4.Embalaje y almacenamiento
Limonene (food grade) must be packed in nitrogen-filled, airtight containers made of stainless steel or aluminum. It should be stored in a dark place in a cool, dry environment (<20℃), away from heat sources and oxidants. Due to its susceptibility to oxidation, it is recommended to use up the product within 6 months after opening. The unopened product has a shelf life of 12 months.
