3. Ámbito de aplicación y uso
CAC is widely used as a high-performance solvent in coatings, inks, and cleaning formulations due to its effective solvency for resins, dyes, and oils. It serves as an active component in paint strippers, degreasers, and industrial cleaners. The printing industry utilizes it in screen printing inks and flexographic applications. Additionally, it functions as a coalescing agent in latex paints and as a processing solvent in adhesives. Its balanced evaporation rate makes it suitable for automotive and industrial coating systems.
4. Embalaje y almacenamiento
CAC is typically packaged in 200L steel drums, 1000L IBC containers, or bulk tankers for industrial quantities. Storage should be in cool, well-ventilated areas away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Containers must be tightly sealed to prevent moisture absorption and evaporation. The product is stable under normal conditions but should be protected from strong oxidizers. Shelf life is 24 months when stored properly. Transportation requires flammable liquid classification (UN 1172). Personal protective equipment (gloves, goggles) is recommended during handling due to mild irritant properties.
