3.\u00c1mbito de aplicaci\u00f3n y uso<\/h4>\n

El formiato de etilo se utiliza como disolvente para nitrocelulosa, acetato de celulosa, etc., y como bactericida, larvicida y fumigante para alimentos, cigarrillos, cereales y frutos secos. El formiato de etilo tambi\u00e9n puede utilizarse como esencia para mezclar las fragancias de melocotones, pl\u00e1tanos, manzanas, albaricoques, pi\u00f1as, bayas, etc., y tambi\u00e9n como agente aromatizante de mantequilla, brandy, vino dulce y whisky.<\/p>\n

4.Embalaje y almacenamiento<\/h4>\n

El formiato de etilo se envasa en bidones de pl\u00e1stico HDPE de 25 kg o en bidones de aluminio. Para los productos de grado alimentario, debe llenarse con nitr\u00f3geno para su protecci\u00f3n. Debe almacenarse en un almac\u00e9n a prueba de incendios (< 25\u2103), estrictamente alejado de fuentes de fuego, protegido de la luz y de la toma de tierra, y almacenado con ventilaci\u00f3n.
