El acetoacetato de etilo, como aditivo alimentario, se utiliza principalmente en la producci\u00f3n de esencias sint\u00e9ticas artificiales de frutas y esencias alcoh\u00f3licas, y en peque\u00f1as cantidades en productos de panader\u00eda y dulces.<\/p>\n

4.Embalaje y almacenamiento<\/h4>\n

El acetoacetato de etilo se envasa en bidones de aluminio de 25 kg (protegidos con nitr\u00f3geno), con un revestimiento interior de pel\u00edcula de PE de calidad alimentaria. Debe almacenarse refrigerado (a 2-8\u2103), estrictamente protegido de la luz y la humedad, y alejado de oxidantes. Una vez abierto, debe almacenarse en atm\u00f3sfera de nitr\u00f3geno.
