El diclorometano es un compuesto formado por la sustituci\u00f3n de los dos \u00e1tomos de hidr\u00f3geno de una mol\u00e9cula de metano por cloro. Es un l\u00edquido incoloro, transparente, m\u00e1s pesado que el agua, con olor a \u00e9ter y sabor dulce. No arde. El diclorometano es ligeramente soluble en agua y miscible con los disolventes org\u00e1nicos m\u00e1s utilizados. Tambi\u00e9n puede mezclarse en cualquier proporci\u00f3n con otros disolventes que contengan cloro, \u00e9ter et\u00edlico, etanol y N,N-dimetilformamida.<\/p>\n

Se utiliza en la industria electr\u00f3nica. Se utiliza habitualmente como agente limpiador y desengrasante.<\/p>\n

Se utiliza como anest\u00e9sico local en odontolog\u00eda, refrigerante, agente extintor de incendios y agente limpiador y desengrasante de capas de pintura de superficies met\u00e1licas, as\u00ed como agente desincrustante y desmoldante.<\/p>\n

4.Embalaje y almacenamiento<\/h4>\n
