It is mainly used as a high-boiling-point solvent for paints, especially nitro lacquers, quick-drying paints, varnishes, enamel coatings and paint removers. It is also used as a non-active diluent for adhesives, metal cleaners, paint removers, fiber wetting agents, pesticide dispersants, drug extractants and resin plasticizers.<\/p>\n
