En aplicaciones alimentarias, sirven como emulsionantes y estabilizantes en helados, productos l\u00e1cteos, productos horneados y productos c\u00e1rnicos, al tiempo que evitan la retrogradaci\u00f3n del almid\u00f3n. Los aditivos funcionan como emulsionantes y dispersantes de alta calidad en aceites comestibles, margarinas y conservantes de recubrimientos de frutas. Para usos industriales, act\u00faan como plastificantes no t\u00f3xicos y agentes antienvejecimiento en el procesado de pl\u00e1sticos (EPE\/PVC), mejorando la flexibilidad y las propiedades antiest\u00e1ticas. Debe almacenarse en un lugar fresco, seco y bien ventilado, alejado de la humedad y de materiales incompatibles.
