El bisulfito s\u00f3dico se utiliza ampliamente como conservante alimentario (bebidas, frutos secos), agente de decloraci\u00f3n para el tratamiento del agua y auxiliar de blanqueo textil. Tambi\u00e9n sirve en s\u00edntesis qu\u00edmica y fotograf\u00eda por sus fuertes propiedades reductoras.<\/p>\n

4.Embalaje y almacenamiento<\/h4>\n

El bisulfito s\u00f3dico se envasa en bolsas interiores de papel kraft recubiertas de pel\u00edcula de PE de 25 kg o en bolsas tejidas de pl\u00e1stico. Para uso alimentario, se requiere un envase de doble capa a prueba de humedad. Almacenar en un lugar fresco y seco (<25\u2103), estrictamente sellado para evitar la humedad y el aire (susceptibles de oxidaci\u00f3n), y mantener alejado de \u00e1cidos y oxidantes fuertes. Preste atenci\u00f3n a la ventilaci\u00f3n durante el funcionamiento (puede generarse SO\u2082 durante la descomposici\u00f3n).
