El EGMS se presenta en forma de copos o grumos de color blanco a amarillo p\u00e1lido, con un punto de fusi\u00f3n de 52-60 \u00b0C. Es insoluble en agua, pero se disuelve f\u00e1cilmente en etanol caliente, tolueno y xileno. Es compatible con la mayor\u00eda de los tensioactivos y se mantiene estable en una amplia gama de pH, lo que produce un suave efecto nacarado multicapa en las formulaciones acabadas.<\/p>\n

3.\u00c1mbito de aplicaci\u00f3n y uso<\/h3>\n

El EGMS sirve como agente perlante, opacificante, espesante, emulsionante y modificador de la viscosidad en detergentes l\u00edquidos, champ\u00fas, cremas y acondicionadores del cabello, impartiendo un suave y rico brillo perlado. Tambi\u00e9n suspende micropart\u00edculas insolubles en emulsiones cosm\u00e9ticas. Normalmente se a\u00f1ade a 0,5-2 % a la fase de aceite caliente, se agita en formulaciones por encima de 60 \u00b0C y se homogeneiza hasta que quede uniforme.<\/p>\n

4.Embalaje y almacenamiento<\/h3>\n

El producto se envasa en bolsas tejidas de 20 kg con un forro interior de PE. Almacenar en un almac\u00e9n seco y bien ventilado, alejado de la luz solar directa, el calor y la humedad. Manipular como un producto qu\u00edmico no peligroso; mantener los envases bien cerrados para evitar que se apelmace.
