El fosfato de aceite de ricino es un tensioactivo ani\u00f3nico de alto rendimiento que posee excelentes propiedades emulsionantes, resistencia a los electrolitos y funciones de lubricaci\u00f3n y prevenci\u00f3n de la oxidaci\u00f3n. Los grupos \u00e9ster fosfato de su mol\u00e9cula pueden adherirse eficazmente a la superficie met\u00e1lica, manteniendo la estabilidad en entornos de alta temperatura, alta salinidad y \u00e1cido-base. Tambi\u00e9n tiene caracter\u00edsticas de baja formaci\u00f3n de espuma y es adecuado para la producci\u00f3n industrial continua. Puede utilizarse como emulgente y aditivo en productos qu\u00edmicos de uso diario, para preparar diversos detergentes, limpiadores, lavavajillas y agentes de limpieza en seco, como dispersante en s\u00edntesis org\u00e1nica y de pol\u00edmeros, como agente antiest\u00e1tico en la industria textil y como agente engrasante en la industria del cuero.
