1. Propiedad del producto<\/b><\/strong><\/h3>\n

El PMA es un l\u00edquido incoloro y vol\u00e1til con un suave olor a \u00e9ster. Presenta una excelente solubilidad en agua y en la mayor\u00eda de disolventes org\u00e1nicos, con un punto de ebullici\u00f3n de 146\u00b0C y baja viscosidad. Como \u00e9ster de \u00e9ter de glicol, combina las propiedades tanto de los \u00e9teres como de los acetatos, ofreciendo tasas de evaporaci\u00f3n equilibradas y un buen poder disolvente para resinas y pol\u00edmeros. Su baja tensi\u00f3n superficial lo hace ideal para aplicaciones de revestimiento.<\/p>\n

3. \u00c1mbito de aplicaci\u00f3n y uso<\/b><\/strong><\/h3>\n

El PMA se utiliza ampliamente como disolvente en pinturas, revestimientos y tintas debido a su eficaz disoluci\u00f3n de resinas y su lenta velocidad de evaporaci\u00f3n. Es un componente clave en f\u00f3rmulas fotorresistentes para la fabricaci\u00f3n de semiconductores y pantallas. En electr\u00f3nica, limpia placas de circuitos y elimina fundentes. La industria de los adhesivos lo utiliza para sistemas de poliuretano y epoxi. Adem\u00e1s, funciona como agente coalescente en pinturas de l\u00e1tex y como disolvente portador de tintes. Su manipulaci\u00f3n segura requiere una ventilaci\u00f3n adecuada para minimizar la exposici\u00f3n por inhalaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

4. Embalaje y almacenamiento<\/b><\/strong><\/h3>\n

El PMA suele envasarse en bidones de acero de 200 litros o en contenedores IBC de 1.000 litros con revestimiento de polietileno. Almacenar en un lugar fresco y bien ventilado, alejado de la luz solar directa y de fuentes de ignici\u00f3n. Los contenedores deben cerrarse herm\u00e9ticamente para evitar la absorci\u00f3n de humedad y la volatilizaci\u00f3n. La vida \u00fatil es superior a 24 meses cuando se almacena por debajo de 30\u00b0C. Transportar como l\u00edquido inflamable (UN 1993) con el etiquetado de peligro adecuado. Utilizar equipo con toma de tierra durante el trasvase para evitar descargas est\u00e1ticas.
