El \u00e9ter monomet\u00edlico de di-pentanodiol (DPM) tambi\u00e9n se conoce como \u00e9ter monoet\u00edlico de 1,2-propanodiol. Es un l\u00edquido incoloro, transparente y viscoso con buena solubilidad. Tiene un olor agradable. El producto es un disolvente de \u00e9ter de alcohol respetuoso con el medio ambiente con baja toxicidad, baja viscosidad, baja tensi\u00f3n superficial, velocidad de evaporaci\u00f3n moderada, buena solubilidad, capacidad de acoplamiento, y es completamente miscible con agua y varios disolventes org\u00e1nicos. El DPM se utiliza ampliamente como disolvente en revestimientos, tintes, tintas y productos de limpieza. Tambi\u00e9n es un componente com\u00fan en los l\u00edquidos de frenos y se utiliza en la formulaci\u00f3n de cosm\u00e9ticos y productos de cuidado personal debido a su baja toxicidad y excelente solubilidad. En la industria electr\u00f3nica, el DPM sirve como disolvente o producto intermedio en la producci\u00f3n de especialidades qu\u00edmicas. Su capacidad para disolver una amplia gama de resinas, como la celulosa, el acetato de polivinilo y las resinas fen\u00f3licas, lo hace valioso en formulaciones industriales.<\/p>\n

4. Embalaje y almacenamiento<\/b><\/strong><\/h3>\n

El DPM se suele envasar en Bidones de acero de 195 kg<\/b><\/strong>o en Contenedores IBC<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0para cantidades a granel. Debe almacenarse en un lugar fresco, seco y bien ventilado, alejado de la luz solar directa, fuentes de calor y puntos de ignici\u00f3n. Los recipientes deben estar herm\u00e9ticamente cerrados para evitar la absorci\u00f3n de humedad y la contaminaci\u00f3n.
