La ciclohexilamina es un l\u00edquido entre transparente y amarillo p\u00e1lido con un fuerte olor a pescado y amina. Es muy soluble en agua y miscible con la mayor\u00eda de disolventes org\u00e1nicos como alcoholes, \u00e9teres y cetonas. Tiene un punto de ebullici\u00f3n de aproximadamente 134,5\u00b0C y un punto de fusi\u00f3n de -17,7\u00b0C. El compuesto es corrosivo e higrosc\u00f3pico, y debe manipularse con cuidado debido a sus propiedades irritantes.<\/p>\n

La ciclohexilamina se utiliza ampliamente en la producci\u00f3n de aceleradores del caucho, inhibidores de la corrosi\u00f3n y plastificantes. Sirve como producto intermedio en la s\u00edntesis de productos farmac\u00e9uticos, agroqu\u00edmicos y tintes. Tambi\u00e9n se utiliza en productos qu\u00edmicos para el tratamiento del agua y como precursor de edulcorantes como el ciclamato s\u00f3dico. Debido a su fuerte basicidad, se emplea a menudo en s\u00edntesis org\u00e1nica como base o catalizador en reacciones de condensaci\u00f3n y alquilaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

4. Embalaje y almacenamiento<\/b><\/strong><\/h3>\n

La ciclohexilamina debe almacenarse en un lugar fresco, seco y bien ventilado, lejos de agentes oxidantes y \u00e1cidos. Es sensible al aire y a la humedad, por lo que se recomienda almacenarla en una atm\u00f3sfera inerte como el nitr\u00f3geno. El producto suele envasarse en Bidones de hierro galvanizado de 180 kg<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0o Dep\u00f3sitos ISO<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0para el transporte a granel.
