3. Champ d'application et utilisation
Diethyl Acetal (food-grade) is used as a flavoring agent in food products, primarily to provide a fresh, fruity, and ethereal aroma. It is approved for use in alcoholic beverages (e.g., fruit brandies, liqueurs), candies, gelatin desserts, and baked goods, where it enhances fruity and green flavor notes.
4. l'emballage et le stockage
Ethyl acetal (food grade) should be sealed and packaged in stainless steel or aluminum containers. It should be stored in a cool (<30℃), dry and well-ventilated place, away from heat sources and oxidants. Due to its high flammability, the storage area must be protected against static electricity and open flames are prohibited. The shelf life is 18 months from unopened state. After opening, it is recommended to use up within 6 months.
