PEG-7 glyceryl cocoate is a light-yellow to white, low-odour liquid at 25 °C. It is fully miscible with water and most cosmetic oils, provides excellent emolliency and refatting, and is stable over pH 3–9 and up to 80 °C. The ester exhibits mild cleansing action, low irritation, and good skin compatibility.

3.Champ d'application et utilisation
PEG-7 glyceryl cocoate is used as a mild refatting agent and co-surfactant in shampoos, shower gels, facial cleansers and baby-care products to prevent drying while maintaining foam. In industrial hard-surface cleaners it acts as an emulsifier for oily soils. Typical dosage is 2–8 % in rinse-off formulations and 1–3 % in leave-on products.
4. l'emballage et le stockage
Supplied in 50 kg blue HDPE drums (Ø 380 × 480 mm) with tamper-evident screw caps. Store at 5–35 °C in a dry, well-ventilated area away from strong acids, oxidizers and direct sunlight. Keep drums tightly closed. Shelf life: 24 months from manufacture date when stored under recommended conditions.
