    L'HPMA est un polym\u00e8re de faible poids mol\u00e9culaire, dont le poids mol\u00e9culaire moyen est compris entre 400 et 800. Pas de toxicit\u00e9, soluble dans l'eau, haute stabilit\u00e9 chimique et thermique, temp\u00e9rature de d\u00e9composition sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 330\u2103. HPMA a un effet de seuil \u00e9vident sous une temp\u00e9rature \u00e9lev\u00e9e (350\u2103) et un niveau de pH \u00e9lev\u00e9 (8,3), appropri\u00e9 pour \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 dans le syst\u00e8me d'eau alcaline ou construit avec des agents. Il a une bonne inhibition de l'\u00e9chelle contre les \u00e9chelles de carbonate et de phosphate sous la temp\u00e9rature 300\u2103 avec une dur\u00e9e d'efficacit\u00e9 aussi longue que 100 heures. En raison de ses bonnes propri\u00e9t\u00e9s d'inhibition de l'entartrage et de tol\u00e9rance aux temp\u00e9ratures \u00e9lev\u00e9es, le HPMA est largement utilis\u00e9 dans les usines de dessalement de l'\u00e9quipement de vaporisation flash, les chaudi\u00e8res \u00e0 basse pression, les locomotives \u00e0 vapeur, l'\u00e9vaporation du p\u00e9trole brut, les ol\u00e9oducs et les syst\u00e8mes industriels de circulation de l'eau froide.       L'HPMA est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement utilis\u00e9 avec un phosphonate organique \u00e0 un dosage de 1 \u00e0 15 ppm pour le syst\u00e8me de circulation d'eau froide, l'eau de remplissage des champs p\u00e9trolif\u00e8res, la d\u00e9shydratation du p\u00e9trole brut et les chaudi\u00e8res \u00e0 basse pression. L'HPMA poss\u00e8de de bonnes propri\u00e9t\u00e9s d'inhibition de l'entartrage (98%) et de d\u00e9capage de l'entartrage. Utilis\u00e9 avec des sels de zinc, il peut inhiber efficacement la corrosion de l'acier au carbone.<\/p>\n
