Il peut \u00e9galement \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 dans l'eau de recharge des champs p\u00e9trolif\u00e8res, l'eau froide et l'eau de chaudi\u00e8re avec une concentration \u00e9lev\u00e9e de carbonate de baryum.
