L'ac\u00e9tate de vinyle est le principal monom\u00e8re pour la production d'ac\u00e9tate de polyvinyle, d'alcool polyvinylique et de copolym\u00e8res \u00e9thyl\u00e8ne-ac\u00e9tate de vinyle. Ces polym\u00e8res sont largement utilis\u00e9s dans les peintures \u00e0 base d'eau, les adh\u00e9sifs, les rev\u00eatements de papier et de textile, les films d'emballage, les bases de chewing-gum et les liants pour tissus non tiss\u00e9s. Le monom\u00e8re est \u00e9galement utilis\u00e9 pour fabriquer des interm\u00e9diaires pour les peintures, les rev\u00eatements et les produits chimiques sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

De plus petites quantit\u00e9s sont disponibles dans des bidons HDPE de 25 litres approuv\u00e9s par l'ONU. Stocker dans un endroit frais, ombrag\u00e9 et bien ventil\u00e9, \u00e0 l'\u00e9cart des oxydants, des acides et des sources d'inflammation ; maintenir la temp\u00e9rature \u00e0 moins de 25 \u00b0C et pr\u00e9venir la polym\u00e9risation en \u00e9vitant un stockage prolong\u00e9.
