1.Propri\u00e9t\u00e9 du produit<\/h3>\n

La m\u00e9thyl\u00e9thylc\u00e9tone est un compos\u00e9 organique. Il s'agit d'un liquide transparent incolore dont l'odeur est similaire \u00e0 celle de l'ac\u00e9tone. Elle est tr\u00e8s volatile. Elle peut se m\u00e9langer \u00e0 l'\u00e9thanol, \u00e0 l'\u00e9ther, au benz\u00e8ne, au chloroforme et aux huiles. Il se dissout dans 4 volumes d'eau, mais sa solubilit\u00e9 diminue \u00e0 mesure que la temp\u00e9rature augmente. Il peut former un m\u00e9lange az\u00e9otropique avec l'eau. Il est peu toxique, inflammable et ses vapeurs peuvent former un m\u00e9lange explosif avec l'air. De fortes concentrations de vapeur ont un effet anesth\u00e9siant.<\/p>\n

3.Champ d'application et utilisation<\/h3>\n

Le MEK est un solvant \u00e0 point d'\u00e9bullition moyen largement utilis\u00e9 dans les peintures, les rev\u00eatements, les encres d'imprimerie et les adh\u00e9sifs pour l'ac\u00e9tate de cellulose, les r\u00e9sines acryliques et alkydes. Il sert de solvant d'extraction pour le d\u00e9paraffinage des huiles lubrifiantes et le raffinage des huiles v\u00e9g\u00e9tales, et de r\u00e9actif pour l'analyse du cadmium, du cuivre et du mercure. C'est un agent aromatisant alimentaire approuv\u00e9 pour le fromage, le caf\u00e9 et les profils de banane, et un interm\u00e9diaire pour les produits pharmaceutiques, les colorants, les antioxydants et les produits chimiques pour le traitement du caoutchouc.<\/p>\n

Le MEK est fourni dans des f\u00fbts \u00e0 t\u00eate serr\u00e9e en acier doux de 165 kg net ou dans des bonbonnes HDPE de 20 L approuv\u00e9es par l'ONU, et dans des r\u00e9servoirs ISO de 20 m\u00b3 pour les utilisateurs en vrac. Stocker dans un endroit frais et ventil\u00e9, \u00e0 une temp\u00e9rature inf\u00e9rieure \u00e0 30 \u00b0C, \u00e0 l'\u00e9cart des oxydants, des acides, des bases et des sources d'inflammation. Les f\u00fbts doivent \u00eatre maintenus debout, scell\u00e9s et mis \u00e0 la terre pendant le transfert ; les r\u00e9servoirs doivent \u00eatre \u00e9quip\u00e9s de dispositifs antistatiques.
