Le styr\u00e8ne est un liquide huileux, incolore \u00e0 jaun\u00e2tre, \u00e0 l'odeur caract\u00e9ristique, douce mais p\u00e9n\u00e9trante. Il est moins dense que l'eau, pratiquement insoluble dans l'eau, mais miscible avec la plupart des solvants organiques. Il est hautement inflammable et se polym\u00e9rise facilement sous l'effet de la lumi\u00e8re, de la chaleur ou de l'oxyg\u00e8ne, \u00e0 moins qu'il ne soit correctement inhib\u00e9.<\/p>\n

3.Champ d'application et utilisation<\/h3>\n

Le styr\u00e8ne est le monom\u00e8re essentiel du polystyr\u00e8ne et d'une large gamme de copolym\u00e8res tels que l'ABS, le SBR et le SBS. Ces mat\u00e9riaux sont transform\u00e9s en mousses d'emballage, en r\u00e9cipients alimentaires, en articles m\u00e9nagers, en pi\u00e8ces automobiles et en panneaux de construction. Il est \u00e9galement utilis\u00e9 comme solvant r\u00e9actif dans les r\u00e9sines de polyester insatur\u00e9 pour les bateaux, les baignoires et les r\u00e9servoirs r\u00e9sistants \u00e0 la corrosion, et comme pr\u00e9curseur des r\u00e9sines alkydes styr\u00e9niques dans les peintures et les rev\u00eatements.<\/p>\n

4. l'emballage et le stockage<\/h3>\n

Le styr\u00e8ne est fourni dans des f\u00fbts en acier rev\u00eatus d'\u00e9poxy de 200 kg, des GRV composites de 1 000 L ou des conteneurs isotank en acier inoxydable de 20 \u00e0 25 m\u00b3. Tous les emballages sont recouverts d'azote et contiennent 10 \u00e0 15 ppm d'inhibiteur de 4-tert-butylcatechol. Stocker dans un endroit frais, bien ventil\u00e9 et antid\u00e9flagrant, \u00e0 une temp\u00e9rature inf\u00e9rieure \u00e0 25 \u00b0C, \u00e0 l'abri de la lumi\u00e8re du soleil, des oxydants et des sources d'inflammation. \u00c9viter le stockage prolong\u00e9 \u00e0 plus de 30 \u00b0C ; renouveler le stock tous les six mois et contr\u00f4ler le niveau d'inhibiteur avant de le r\u00e9utiliser.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
