La solution de formald\u00e9hyde est un \u00e9l\u00e9ment de base polyvalent pour les r\u00e9sines telles que l'ur\u00e9e, le ph\u00e9nol et la m\u00e9lamine-formald\u00e9hyde utilis\u00e9es dans les panneaux de bois, les stratifi\u00e9s, les rev\u00eatements et les adh\u00e9sifs. Elle sert de d\u00e9sinfectant et de conservateur dans les soins de sant\u00e9, les cosm\u00e9tiques et les produits m\u00e9nagers, et constitue un interm\u00e9diaire pour le 1,4-butanediol, le penta\u00e9rythritol, l'hexamine et les agents ch\u00e9lateurs dans le traitement de l'eau.<\/p>\n
