Le CAC est largement utilis\u00e9 comme solvant de haute performance dans les rev\u00eatements, les encres et les formulations de nettoyage en raison de sa solvabilit\u00e9 efficace pour les r\u00e9sines, les colorants et les huiles. Il sert de composant actif dans les d\u00e9capants de peinture, les d\u00e9graissants et les nettoyants industriels. L'industrie de l'imprimerie l'utilise dans les encres de s\u00e9rigraphie et les applications flexographiques. En outre, il sert d'agent coalescent dans les peintures au latex et de solvant de traitement dans les adh\u00e9sifs. Le produit est stable dans des conditions normales mais doit \u00eatre prot\u00e9g\u00e9 des oxydants puissants. La dur\u00e9e de conservation est de 24 mois si le produit est stock\u00e9 correctement. Le transport n\u00e9cessite la classification de liquide inflammable (UN 1172).
