Le t\u00e9trahydrofurane (THF) est un\u00a0liquide incolore, volatil<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0avec un\u00a0odeur piquante d'\u00e9ther<\/b><\/strong>. Il est\u00a0hautement polaire<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0et\u00a0compl\u00e8tement miscible<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0avec l'eau et la plupart des solvants organiques. 3. Champ d'application et utilisation<\/b><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Le t\u00e9trahydrofurane est un solvant polyvalent largement utilis\u00e9 dans la production de polym\u00e8res tels que le polyt\u00e9tram\u00e9thyl\u00e8ne \u00e9ther glycol (PTMEG), un composant cl\u00e9 des fibres spandex. Il est \u00e9galement utilis\u00e9 dans la synth\u00e8se pharmaceutique, l'agrochimie et comme milieu r\u00e9actionnel dans les r\u00e9actions de Grignard et les r\u00e9actions organom\u00e9talliques. Dans l'industrie des rev\u00eatements et des adh\u00e9sifs, le THF est appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 pour sa forte solvabilit\u00e9 et son taux d'\u00e9vaporation rapide. En outre, il est utilis\u00e9 dans l'extraction d'ingr\u00e9dients pharmaceutiques actifs et dans la formulation de produits chimiques sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

4. Emballage et stockage<\/b><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Le THF doit \u00eatre stock\u00e9 dans des conteneurs \u00e9tanches et r\u00e9sistants \u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re, en acier inoxydable, en aluminium ou en verre, sous une atmosph\u00e8re inerte telle que l'azote, afin d'\u00e9viter la formation de peroxyde. Il est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement conditionn\u00e9 dans des f\u00fbts, des GRV ou des r\u00e9servoirs ISO. Les zones de stockage doivent \u00eatre fra\u00eeches, s\u00e8ches, bien ventil\u00e9es et \u00e9loign\u00e9es des sources d'inflammation. Les conteneurs doivent \u00eatre tenus \u00e0 l'\u00e9cart des agents oxydants, des acides et de la lumi\u00e8re.
