Le propyl\u00e8ne glycol est largement utilis\u00e9 dans les applications industrielles en raison de ses propri\u00e9t\u00e9s de solvant, d'humectant et de conservateur. Il est un ingr\u00e9dient cl\u00e9 dans les formulations d'antigels et de liquides de refroidissement, les fluides hydrauliques et les syst\u00e8mes de transfert de chaleur. Dans l'industrie chimique, il sert de solvant pour les r\u00e9sines, les peintures, les rev\u00eatements et les plastifiants. Il est \u00e9galement utilis\u00e9 dans la production de r\u00e9sines de polyester insatur\u00e9 et comme support dans les formulations d'ar\u00f4mes et de parfums. Sa faible toxicit\u00e9 et sa stabilit\u00e9 lui permettent d'\u00eatre utilis\u00e9 dans l'industrie alimentaire, les cosm\u00e9tiques et les produits pharmaceutiques.<\/p>\n

4. Emballage et stockage<\/b><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Le propyl\u00e8ne glycol doit \u00eatre stock\u00e9 dans des conteneurs herm\u00e9tiques en acier inoxydable, en aluminium, en f\u00fbts rev\u00eatus d'\u00e9poxy ou en poly\u00e9thyl\u00e8ne haute densit\u00e9 (PEHD). Il est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement conditionn\u00e9 dans des f\u00fbts en acier ou en plastique de 200 litres, ou dans des citernes ISO pour le transport en vrac. Il doit \u00eatre conserv\u00e9 dans un endroit frais, sec et bien ventil\u00e9, \u00e0 l'abri de la lumi\u00e8re directe du soleil, des sources de chaleur et des agents oxydants.
