2-Methylbutyric acid is packaged in 25kg HDPE plastic drums or aluminum drums. For food-grade products, nitrogen must be filled for protection. It should be stored in a cool, dark place (<25℃), sealed tightly to prevent oxidation, and kept away from strong alkalis and oxidants. Ventilation is required during operation (due to the pungent odor), and the shelf life is 24 months.
