- In the spinning process of fiber fabrics, phosphate esters serve as emulsifying stabilizers, especially in high alkalinity conditions, and are also an important component in synthetic fiber oiling agents.
- In the paper, plastic and leather industries, phosphate esters have the functions of preventing static accumulation and promoting rapid discharge of static electricity. Therefore, they are used as anti-static agents in high hydrophobic and high hydrophilic systems. Additionally, phosphate esters have the ability to resist acid, alkali and salt, and can be used in chrome tanning or chrome re-tanning in leather processing, making the distribution of chromium salts in leather more uniform and enabling the combination of chromium salts and leather, achieving a “super” lubrication effect.
- In the energy and building materials industries, phosphate esters, as additives for automobiles and vehicle fuels, can increase the combustion value of oil products and reduce energy consumption. In polymer materials, they are used as stabilizers and can be used to prepare phosphate ester glass. They are suitable as coupling agents for treating fillers such as calcium carbonate.
- In processing aids, phosphate esters are a multifunctional plastic processing aid. Due to their good plasticity, stability, heat resistance, anti-static property, anti-pollution property and transparency, they have been widely applied in plastic products for buildings, furniture, mines, conveyor belts and transportation components.
- Moreover, phosphate ester salts have excellent lubricity, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, anti-static property, low friction, emulsifying property, anti-welding property, etc. They can be used as cutting oil, drawing oil, and can also be mixed into oil-soluble and water-soluble emulsions, and have corrosion inhibition properties.
