Ethyl formate is a colorless liquid that is slightly soluble in water and soluble in most organic solvents such as benzene, ethanol, and ether. It is mainly used as a solvent for acetic acid or nitrocellulose, as well as in the synthesis of fragrances and in pharmaceutical production.

3.適用範囲と使用方法
Ethyl formate is used as a solvent for nitrocellulose, cellulose acetate, etc., and as a bactericide, larvicide and fumigant for food, cigarettes, grains, and dried fruits. Ethyl formate can also be used as an essence to blend the fragrances of peaches, bananas, apples, apricots, pineapples, berries, etc., and can also be used as a flavoring agent for butter, brandy, sweet wine, and whisky.
4.パッケージと保管
Ethyl formate is packaged in 25kg HDPE plastic drums or aluminum drums. For food-grade products, nitrogen must be filled for protection. It should be stored in a fire-proof warehouse (< 25℃), strictly kept away from fire sources, protected from light and grounded, and stored with ventilation. The shelf life is 12 months.
