Ethyl caproate is an organic compound. It is a colorless liquid that is insoluble in water and glycerol but soluble in ethanol, ether and most organic solvents. It is mainly used as a food flavoring and is often used to prepare fruit-flavored food essences such as apple, pineapple and banana, as well as wine essences for brandy and white spirit. It can also be used as a solvent and in organic synthesis.

Ethyl Hexanoate is an ester compound with a strong pineapple aroma. It is mainly used as a food flavoring agent (FEMA 2439) in beverages, candies, and baked goods, and is also used in personal care fragrances (perfumes, cleaning products) and the pharmaceutical industry (flavor masking agents).
4.パッケージと保管
Ethyl caproate is packaged in 25kg/180kg stainless steel or aluminum drums. It should be stored in a cool, dark place (< 25℃), away from fire sources and oxidants, and the container must be kept sealed (to prevent evaporation). For food-grade use, it should be lined with food-grade PE film. The shelf life is 24 months.
