1.Product Property
Pentanol, also known as 1-butanol or butanol, is a type of alcohol and has three isomers: isobutanol, sec-butanol and tert-butanol. At room temperature, it is a colorless liquid with a wine-like odor and is miscible with ethanol, ether and many other organic solvents. Pentanol is the raw material for producing the plasticizer dibutyl phthalate and is also used as a solvent for acrylic butyl esters, butyl acetate, and butyl glycol ether.
