1.Product Property
Acetic acid is a clear, colorless liquid with a sharp, pungent odor and sour taste. It is completely miscible with water, ethanol and ether, and freezes at 16.6 °C to form ice-like crystals; boiling point is 118 °C, density 1.049 g cm⁻³ at 20 °C and flash point 39 °C. Vapors are flammable and mildly corrosive.
2.Technical Norm

3.Application Scope and Usage
Acetic acid is a fundamental organic acid used in the manufacture of vinyl acetate monomer, purified terephthalic acid and cellulose acetate. It serves as a solvent and pH regulator in food, pharmaceutical and textile industries, and is the active ingredient in vinegar. It is also employed for esterification to produce acetate esters used as flavors, fragrances and coatings.
4.Package and Storage
Acetic acid is packed in 25 kg HDPE carboys, 200 kg HDPE drums, or 1000 kg IBC totes. Bulk shipments use 20–25 t stainless-steel ISO tanks lined with 316L SS. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from oxidizers, bases and metals. Keep containers tightly closed; maintain ambient temperature below 30 °C and avoid direct sunlight to prevent polymerization and corrosion.
