1.Product Property
APG1214 is a clear, almost colourless to pale-yellow liquid at 25 °C. It is readily soluble in water and stable over a broad pH range (2–12). The product has excellent wetting, foaming and emulsifying power, is non-toxic, non-irritating to skin and eyes, and is readily biodegradable (> 90 % OECD 301).

3.Application Scope and Usage
APG1214 is used as a mild surfactant in personal-care products (shampoos, facial cleansers, baby bath) where low irritation and good foam are required. In household and industrial cleaning it serves as a primary or co-surfactant for hard-surface cleaners, degreasers and bottle-washing formulations. In textiles it functions as a high-temperature scouring agent, mercerising assistant and dyeing dispersant that is compatible with strong alkali (> 10 % NaOH). It is also employed as an emulsifier in pesticide concentrates and as a foaming agent in enhanced oil-recovery formulations.
4.Package and Storage
APG1214 is supplied in 200 kg epoxy-coated steel drums or 50 kg HDPE drums with sealed screw caps. Drums are labelled for “non-hazardous surfactant” and are stackable. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse at 5–40 °C, away from strong acids and oxidisers. Protect from frost. Shelf life is 24 months from date of manufacture when kept in original, unopened containers.
