1.Product Property
Benzoic acid is an important chemical raw material and intermediate in chemical reactions. It is mainly used for preparing benzoic acid sodium as a preservative, and is also used in the synthesis of drugs, dyes, and for the production of plasticizers, mordants, fungicides, and fragrances, etc. The chemical structure of benzoic acid contains carboxyl groups and a benzene ring. It can undergo reactions such as neutralization, salt formation, and esterification, and also undergo ortho-substitution reactions on the benzene ring. This enables benzoic acid to generate many derivatives.

3.Application scope and Usage
Benzoic Acid is a commonly used food preservative, widely employed in beverages, sauces, and pickled products to inhibit the growth of mold and bacteria. In the field of medicine, it is used as a disinfectant and an ingredient in topical medications. It is also utilized as a chemical raw material for the production of fragrances, dyes, and plastic plasticizers.
4.Package and Storage
Benzoic acid is packaged in 25kg kraft paper bags lined with PE film or fiber drums. It should be stored in a cool and dry place (<30℃), sealed to prevent moisture, and kept away from oxidants and strong acids. For food-grade use, additional light protection is required. The shelf life is 36 months.
