Lactic acid sodium is a colorless or slightly yellow transparent syrupy liquid with strong water absorption capacity. It has no odor or a slightly peculiar smell, and has a slightly salty and bitter taste. It is miscible with water, ethanol and glycerol.

三.Application scope and Usage:
(1) It can be used as an emulsifier, moisturizer, flavor enhancer, quality improver, antioxidant enhancer and pH regulator, and is widely applied in the meat and poultry food processing industry. It can enhance the flavor, inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria in food, and extend the shelf life of products.
(2) Sodium lactate, as a food preservative, flavoring agent, antifreeze agent, moisturizer, etc., has already partially replaced benzoic acid sodium as a preservative in the food industry in some foreign countries.
四.Package and Storage:
Its packaging is usually 25kg per barrel. It should be stored in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place, and must not be mixed with toxic or odorous substances.
