1.Product Property
Ethyl acetate, also known as acetic acid ethyl ester, is an organic compound with the chemical formula C4H8O2. It is a type of ester (with a functional group -COOR, where carbon and oxygen form a double bond) and can undergo common reactions of esters such as alcoholysis, amide hydrolysis, ester exchange, and reduction. It is mainly used as a solvent, food flavoring agent, and cleaning oil remover.

3.Application scope and Usage
Ethyl acetate is one of the most widely used fatty acid esters. It is a quick-drying solvent with excellent solubility and is an excellent industrial solvent. It can also be used as an eluent in column chromatography. It can be used for nitrocellulose, ethyl cellulose, chlorinated rubber and vinyl resins, cellulose acetate esters, cellulose butyl acetate and synthetic rubber. It can also be used as the liquid nitrocellulose ink for photocopiers. It can be used as a solvent for adhesives and a diluent for painting. Ethyl acetate is a highly efficient solvent for many types of resins and is widely used in ink production and artificial leather manufacturing. It is used as an analytical reagent, a standard substance for chromatographic analysis and a solvent.
4.Package and Storage
Food grade: Usually packaged in sealed containers of 25 kilograms per bag or 20 kilograms per barrel, with a shelf life of 720 days (two years).
Industrial grade: Common packaging includes 500ml, 2500ml and 20kg/ barrel, with a general shelf life of 12 months (one year).
Sealed storage: The shelf life is usually longer when stored in an airtight condition, but avoid high temperatures or exposure to air.
After opening: If not sealed or exposed to air frequently, the active ingredients may decrease due to evaporation. It is recommended to use it as soon as possible after opening.
