3.Application scope and Usage

Maltodextrin is widely used in various fields: it is used as a thickening agent and carrier in food, improving the texture of products such as milk powder and ice cream; it is used as an excipient in the pharmaceutical industry; it is used as a smooth component in cosmetics as talcum powder; and it is used in industry as an adhesive and ceramic glaze. When using, different DE value models can be selected according to the requirements; a low DE value is suitable for thickening, while a high DE value is more soluble.

4.Package and Storage

Maltodextrin is usually packaged in 25kg kraft paper bags lined with PE film. Small packages of 1-5kg or ton bags can also be provided according to demand. During storage, the environment should be kept cool and dry (temperature < 25℃, humidity < 65%), avoiding direct sunlight and storing separately from odorous items. Unopened products have a shelf life of 2 years. Once opened, they need to be sealed promptly to prevent moisture.
