3. Application Scope and Usage
Hydroxyphenyl compounds are also used as modifiers for oil-soluble phenolic resins and as intermediates for fully cured resins, medicines, dyes, and adhesives, etc.It is mainly used for synthesizing ionic surfactants (emulsifiers OP), plasticizers (tridecylphthalate, octyl salicylate), heat stabilizers (barium octylphenate), light stabilizers (nickel salt of bis-octylphenol sulfide), petroleum additives, fuel oil stabilizers and copper ore extractants, etc.
4. Package and Storage
The product is typically packaged in 25 kg polyethylene-lined fiber drums, 200 kg steel drums, or bulk containers for industrial use. It should be stored in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from strong oxidizers and heat sources. Containers must be tightly sealed to prevent moisture absorption and degradation. Proper handling requires protective gloves and goggles. Under recommended storage conditions, it remains stable for at least two years.
