Structural formula:

1.Product Property

Sodium sulfite is an inorganic substance with the chemical formula Na2SO3. It is the sulfite salt of sodium. It is mainly used as a stabilizer for artificial fibers, a bleaching agent for fabrics, a developer for photography, a deoxidizer for dyeing and bleaching, a reducing agent for fragrances and dyes, and a wood-degrading agent for papermaking.

3.Application scope and Usage

It is mainly used as a stabilizer for artificial fibers, a fabric bleaching agent, a photographic developer, a dye bleaching decolorizer, a flavoring agent and a dye reducing agent, and a lignin removal agent for papermaking.

4.Package and Storage

Anhydrous sodium sulfite is packaged in 25kg inner PE film-coated kraft paper bags or plastic woven bags. For food-grade products, double-layer moisture-proof measures are required. It should be stored in a cool and dry warehouse (<30℃), sealed tightly to prevent moisture and air (it is prone to oxidation), and kept away from acids and oxidants. During operation, ensure good ventilation (as decomposition produces SO₂). The shelf life is 24 months.
