1.Product Property
Tetrahydrofuran is one of the most polar ethers. It is used as a moderately polar solvent in chemical reactions and extraction. At room temperature, it is a colorless volatile liquid with a smell similar to that of ether. It is soluble in most organic solvents such as water, ethanol, ether, acetone, and benzene, and is thus called the “universal solvent”.

3.Application scope and Usage
Mainly used as a solvent, a chemical synthesis intermediate, and an analytical reagent.
Tetrahydrofuran is used in the production of polytetramethylene ether glycol (PTMEG) and in the manufacture of polyurethane elastic fibers and elastomers, polyurethane artificial leather, etc. It is used as a remover of paint, an extractant, a surface conditioner for artificial leather, and a solvent in polymerization and esterification reactions, and is also used in the ink and pharmaceutical industries.
4.Package and Storage
Steel drums. Ordinary wooden boxes for ampoule bottles. Threaded-mouth glass bottles, screw-on lid pressed-mouth glass bottles, plastic bottles or metal drums (cans) in ordinary wooden boxes, etc.
