1. Product Performance

This product is an organic phosphonate type scale inhibitor and corrosion inhibitor. It can form stable complexes with various metal ions such as iron, copper, and zinc. It is a stable chelating agent that can dissolve the oxides on the metal surface and is not prone to hydrolysis. It is generally not decomposed under light and heat conditions. Its acid and alkali resistance and chlorine oxidation resistance are better than those of other organic phosphonates (salts).

3. Application Scope and Usage Method

It is widely used in industrial circulating cooling water systems of industries such as power, chemical engineering, metallurgy, and fertilizer production, as well as in medium and low-pressure boilers and oilfield injection water for scale inhibition and corrosion prevention. In the light textile and printing and dyeing industry, it is used as an ionic complexing dispersant. It can also be used as a cleaning agent for metals and non-metals, a peroxide stabilizer and color fixative in the dyeing industry, and a soft water agent in the cosmetics industry. It is also used as a complexing agent in the cyanide-free electroplating industry.

4. Packaging and Storage

The HEDP•Na2 liquid is packaged in plastic drums, with each drum containing 30kg or 250kg. The HEDP•Na2 solid is packaged in plastic woven bags lined with polyethylene bags, with each bag weighing 25kg. The exact packaging can be determined according to user requirements. It should be stored in a cool, indoor location. The shelf life is ten months.

5. Safety Protection

HEDP•Na2 is weakly acidic. It should be avoided from contact with skin, eyes, etc. After contact, thorough rinsing with plenty of water is required.
