1. Product Property

Food-grade ammonium dihydrogen phosphate is a white crystalline powder with good solubility in water but insolubility in organic solvents. It exhibits acidic properties (pH 4.4-4.8 in 1% solution) and decomposes at 190°C. The compound is stable under normal conditions but may lose ammonia when heated. It serves as an effective pH regulator and nutrient source in food applications.

2. Quality Standards

3. Application Scope and Usage

Ammonium dihydrogen phosphate is widely used in food processing as a leavening agent, dough conditioner, and yeast nutrient in baked goods. It functions as a pH regulator in beverages and acts as a nutrient source in fermentation processes. The compound also finds applications in fire retardants, water treatment chemicals, and as a fertilizer in agriculture. In food production, it must be used within regulated limits to ensure product safety and quality.

4. Package and Storage

The product is typically packaged in 25 kg polyethylene-lined woven bags or moisture-proof containers. Storage should be in cool, dry, well-ventilated areas away from incompatible substances. Containers must be kept tightly sealed to prevent moisture absorption and caking. Proper handling equipment should be used to avoid dust generation. Under optimal conditions, the shelf life is 24 months.
