Methylcyclohexylbenzene, also known as 1,3-dimethylbenzene, is an organic compound. It is a colorless transparent liquid with a smell similar to that of toluene. It is insoluble in water but miscible with most organic solvents such as ethanol, ether, and chloroform.

Methylbenzene is an intermediate for fungicides such as mancozeb, fuberacil, benomyl, oxycarboxin, and carbendazim, as well as insecticides and acaricides like dimethoate, monomethoate, and malathion, and herbicides like kresoxim-methyl and isobutrenone.

The warehouse should be well-ventilated, kept at a low temperature and dry; and stored separately from oxidants.
