1. Product Property
Polyethylene glycol (PEG) is a water-soluble polymer with a wide range of molecular weights. It is a clear, viscous liquid or white powder, depending on the molecular weight. PEG is non-toxic, non-irritating, and has good biocompatibility. It is soluble in water, ethanol, and most common solvents at room temperature.

3. Application Scope and Usage
Polyethylene glycol (PEG) series, including PEG200, PEG300, PEG400, PEG600, PEG800, PEG1000, PEG1500, PEG2000, PEG3000, PEG4000, PEG6000, and PEG8000, are widely used in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and industrial applications due to their excellent solubility, lubricity, and moisture retention properties. Lower molecular weight PEGs (PEG200-PEG600) are commonly employed as solvents, excipients in liquid formulations, and humectants in personal care products. Medium-range PEGs (PEG800-PEG2000) serve as thickeners, softeners, and bases for ointments and creams. Higher molecular weight PEGs (PEG3000-PEG8000) are used as binders in tablets, lubricants in industrial processes, and components in solid dosage forms due to their waxy consistency and stability. Additionally, PEGs are utilized in chemical synthesis, textile processing, and as stabilizers in various industrial applications.
4. Package and Storage
Polyethylene glycol (PEG) are typically packaged in 200 kg/drum (blue plastic drums), 50 kg/drum (plastic or galvanized iron drums), or 1000 kg/IBC totes for industrial-scale supply. Smaller quantities may also be available in 25 kg/bag (for solid grades like PEG2000~8000) or 20 kg/carton (for liquid grades like PEG200~600). The packaging material is selected based on compatibility—plastic (HDPE) for liquids and moisture-resistant bags for solids. All packaging meets standard industrial and transportation safety regulations to ensure product integrity during storage and shipping. Custom packaging options (e.g., smaller bottles or bulk tanker deliveries) can be arranged upon request.
