HEDP·Na4 is the sodium salt of HEDP. It is an excellent scale inhibitor and corrosion inhibitor for calcium carbonate. HEDP·Na4 is mainly used in low-pressure boiler water treatment, circulating water treatment, industrial and municipal clean water for use, and swimming pool disinfection for metal corrosion prevention.
HEDP·Na4 is a white powder solid that is easily soluble in water. It is convenient for transportation and suitable for use in extremely cold conditions. It can form stable complexes with various metal ions such as iron, copper, and zinc, and can dissolve the oxides on the metal surface. It is an alkaline water quality stabilizer.

- Application Scope and Usage Methods
HEDP·Na4 scale inhibitor is widely used in industrial circulating cooling water of power, chemical, metallurgy, fertilizer industries, as well as low-pressure boilers and oilfield reinjection water for scale inhibition and corrosion prevention. In the textile industry, it can be used as a cleaning agent for metals and non-metals, a peroxide stabilizer and color fixative in the printing and dyeing industry, a cyanide-free electroplating complexing agent, and an additive for daily chemical products.
- Packaging and Storage
The HEDP·Na4 scale inhibitor liquid is packaged in plastic drums, with each drum containing 30kg or 250kg. The HEDP·Na4 solid is packed in plastic woven bags lined with polyethylene bags, with each bag weighing 25kg net. The quantity can be determined according to the user’s requirements. Store it in a cool, dry indoor place. The shelf life is ten months.
- Safety Protection
HEDP·Na4 is alkaline. It should be avoided from coming into contact with the skin, eyes, etc. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.
